LDeX SATELLITE FARM

LDeX Data Centres offer extensive facilities for the siting of satellite and wireless equipment, we’re also able to provide a wide range of managed streaming media satellite feeds direct to your cabinet. Our gantry space can be connected to your racks within the LDeX data centres with ease via coax, copper and fibre interconnects. Utilising the latest technology in fibre optic LNB’s, LDeX can deliver scalable satellite feeds with zero loss over it’s optical distribution network. Fibre connectivity is made using FC/PC connectors into the LNB via a structured fibre connection in secure and IP rated external enclosures. The fibre optic network connects into optical splitters allowing it to deliver signal to multiple tuners. As the signal is optical it doesn’t suffer from electrical or heat interference, which does occur on traditional coax solutions, giving end users a solid signal.

REMOTE HANDS OPTIONS

Single coax connection from an LDeX managed multi-switch port delivering all available frequencies stacked from a single satellite. Clients can order any number of coax connections downlinked from any of the satellites within the LDeX satellite farm.

Four coax feeds from a Quatro switch, one for each of the satellite bands (Vertical Low, Horizontal Low, Vertical High, Horizontal High) from a single satellite. This allows a client to install their own multi-switches and thus add some scale to the satellite distribution. A Terrestrial feed can also be added if required.

A dedicated fibre handoff from a satellite LNB via our managed splitters. This enables a client to build their own large scale satellite distribution system as the optical feed can be split and/or amplified and thus more multi-switches can be installed by the client. The optical handoff contains all available frequencies stacked from a single satellite.
